About Jackson’s Counselling

Registered Clinical Counsellor #23229

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a client-centered, trauma-informed approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I specialize in supporting youth aged 8 and up, teens, and adults through life’s challenges, whether that’s anxiety, emotional regulation, self-harm, relationship struggles, grief, trauma or navigating transitions.

I currently work as a school counsellor in School District 33, where I support students and families with a wide range of needs. My background in the education system helps me understand the unique pressures that young people face today, and I value building strong, trusting relationships to help them feel safe, heard, and empowered.

I completed my Master of Education in Counselling at City University of Seattle in Canada, graduating with President’s Honours. My work is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and that counselling is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with family and friends, being out in nature, and embracing life’s simple moments. I'm here to walk alongside clients in their journey, offering support, tools, and a space where they can feel truly seen.
